/ Woodinville Lavender Wedding with Modern Art Deco Design

SEATTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER — Woodinville lavender wedding

Kate and Patrick’s Woodinville Lavender Wedding was perfectly modern and minimalist, while still having a touch of timeless elegance that made it truly unique and beautiful.

Kate and Patrick were married on a Friday afternoon in July at the beautiful Woodinville Lavender wedding venue. Kate and Patrick’s vision for their wedding was to create an experience centered around family, friends, and timeless memories with a modern and minimalist feel. It was important to them to have their day be about connection, and they knew they didn’t want to spend too much time away from their guests taking photos. We were sure to schedule their timeline well in advance to make sure we could snap some quick photos of them in the field of lavender, with their pup Fondue, with their nearest family members, and the rest was to be candid. It was absolutely perfect and seamless.

The venue itself is incredible, a little garden full of rows of lavender, surrounded by tall hedges and bamboo that blocking out all that lies outside of the venue. It makes you feel like you are somewhere away from the rest of the world. The venue was made even more beautiful with the help of Libby Tipton, the bride’s best friend and an amazing designer based in Seattle. Libby decorated the venue with incredible modern and minimalist signage, and of course dozens of odes to Harry Potter. She planned the event perfectly with the most beautiful style.

The venue has perfectly modern and simple farm table benches that provide the perfect seating for an intimate wedding. The arch was beautifully designed by LaVassar Florist, with fans/shades made by Libby to keep the guests cool during the ceremony.

the reception that followed was beautiful, full of yummy food from Gourmondo Catering and a beautiful desert bar including a gorgeous little Harry Potter cake from Honey Crumb Cakes. It was a beautiful night that I love thinking back on!
