There was such a natural pull between Ariel and her mom that lit up the room from the moment they entered it. It is rare and special to see : ). ✨

As a film shooter you have these really moving mom As a film shooter you have these really moving moments when you get scans back and you catch yourself saying ‘wow’ under your breath. Truly moved by the beauty of the machine, the film stock, and of course the subjects that you feel so deeply connected to as a result. It’s impossible to explain unless you’ve experienced it, and I wish the experience on all of you. I loved getting to fall in love with two cameras and two film stocks perspective’s of the same moment. With the first two shots on a 35mm rangefinder and the second on a medium format autofocus camera. Could not be more deeply in love with this medium or the amazing people who lend themselves to the frame. So grateful for your beauty and ideas @grigs.by.the.sea 🖤🖤!

When the week started I thought, “cool I’ve always wanted to try working off of an iPad, they are so cute and tiny, and all the YouTubers told me I need one anyways.” Fast forward through a rollercoaster of love and hate, and let me cut ahead to where I clear up any confusion for you. Don’t listen to YouTubers who tell you the iPad is the new laptop. Working exclusively from an iPad will make you quit your job, leave your family behind, and move north to Alaska where life is slow and the most important technology you own is your chainsaw battery. Don’t buy an iPad, be good to your computers.
