This Intimate Wild Lily Cabins Wedding in Index, Washington was every bit as intimate and personal as it was beautiful. So in love with this day, these two, and this place! unequivocally perfect together, Lindsay + Bradley exchanged vows in front of 25 of their loved ones along the Skykomish river at the foot of Washington’s Cascade Mountain range.
Upon first meeting Lindsay and Bradley, it would have been impossible to ignore how kind they are. They have this light about them that makes you feel welcome and free to be yourself. They are so in love with each other, and their happiness fills every corner of the room. Not only are they incredibly kind and smart, they are also totally unaware of how beautiful they are! Which makes them just that much more admirable.
When Lindsay described her wedding to me, I knew it would be special. An intimate wedding at Wild Lily Cabins with only a handful of guests. The campsite ran along the Skykomish River, so their ceremony would be on the river beach. When we arrived that morning the florist and her fiancé had just arrived. He came ready with a tool belt to assemble the arch and Jeni was ready to decorate it in the loveliest of ways.
Their ceremony was short and sweet, with a beautiful exchanging of vows with a view of the river and mountains in the background. The ceremony was followed by an intimate dinner at the Wild Lily Cabins campsite. The campsite reception space is beautiful as is, but was extra special filled with family style farm tables, a bohemian rug for a dance floor, and simple yet sophisticated table decor designed by Emily Aitkins. To represent their roots (Lindsay being from the South and Bradley being from the mid-west), they had Wich Wagon Foodtruck cater homestyle chicken, corn, grits, and more.
The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, a beautiful bonfire, and sweet treats. Having had their families travel from far to be with them, I knew this time with loved ones at the end of the day was important to them. So incredibly grateful to have been a part of it with them.
